"I believe in preventative dental care and restoring teeth to function using various up to date dental restorations. My goal is to educate my patients as to how to care for their teeth and to help them maintain their oral health so that they can smile with confidence. "
I am a General Dentist located behind Kahala Mall, in the Kahala Office Tower. I am fluent in three languages: English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. I am a graduate of University of Hawaii-at Manoa in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Physiology in 2003. After college, I attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and received a DDS degree in 2007.
In order to care for my patients at a higher level that they deserve, I did a two year General Practice Residency at Truman Medical Center-Lakewood in Missouri and received a residency certificate in 2009. At the Medical Center, I have trained under many dental specialists. I have been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. In order to stay updated on the latest dental knowledge, I attend numerous accredited Continuing Education courses, read monthly dental journals, and watch online dental courses. I promise that you will receive the best care possible and that I will always strive to make every experience as good as it can be.
I am originally from Guam, but now I live here in Hawaii with my husband, my son, and my daughter. Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family and friends. I also do various volunteer projects around Oahu to give back to the community, such as dental health screenings and dental health presentations for those who are interested in learning about dental health.
